Platform Fee

How is the fee calculated?

• The platform fee is 6% of your total request amount (including any optional reward for the helper).
• This fee is added to the amount we authorize on your card when you create a request.
• You will only be charged the actual cost if it ends up being lower than your maximum budget.

Helper Fee

• Helpers pay an 8% service fee on the reward they earn for each request.
• This fee is automatically deducted from the reward payout.
• Helpers always receive full reimbursement for the item's cost, plus their net reward after the service fee.
• Note: Stripe payment processing and currency conversion fees may further reduce the final payout.

Example

If your item costs $100 and you add a $10 reward for the helper, the platform fee will be 6% of $110, which is $6.60. The total hold on your card will be $116.60.

If you are a helper and earn a $10 reward, an 8% service fee ($0.80) will be deducted, so you receive $9.20 (plus full reimbursement for the item). The actual payout may be lower due to Stripe and currency conversion fees.
